Why did you apply for an internship at DOMUS?
After finishing Bachelor studies, I decided to take a break form academia
to fully commit myself to gaining work experience. I was interested in Denmark as it is known for its state of the art architecture. I found Domus on the Internet and decided to apply, when I saw that the company dealt mainly with residential projects, which was in line with my interest. The team at Domus was very forthcoming and open to taking in foreign students.
Can you list some of the projects you worked in during your internship at DOMUS, and your role in them?
During my stay I worked on many projects. Most memorable was renovation of Folehaven residential area, where I had opportunity to work on apartment design and proposals for masonry decorations on new facade. I’ve also worked on a design of new apartment blocks in Sorgenfri and a proposal for new row houses in Rosenprken in Naksokov. Apart from that I worked on various, mostly residential projects.

I had tasks of various size, from doing small corrections to bigger design assignments. I had an opportunity to do work in all stages of design process; from early conceptual drawings to visualizations. I was involved in drafting process, 3D modeling, rendering and preparing presentations. I also had an opportunity to go on site and do inventory drawings.
